The fascia acts like a gel for your muscles and joints.  One of the roles of fascial is to help your body extend and move freely. Through poor posture or injury your body get feel ‘stuck.’ The connective tissue has become shortened and unbalanced resulting in pain. It’s like wear a shirt that has become too tight. After a session, the client often feels more balanced and connected into their body which can allow them to move, enjoy, and express themselves more freely.

Rolfing aims to correct these misalignments and bring balance to the body through a unique combination of touch and movement. Rolfing Structural Integration a form of bodywork that focuses on reorganizing the connective tissues of the body, called fascia. Fascia envelope the entire body, encompassing all the skin, bones, and nerves, and serving a number of important functions for movement and support of these different structures. The fasciae can become unbalanced and dehydrated, causing chronic pain and discomfort.
